The staff will be away on retreat at Lake Junaluska on Monday, July 21st-Wednesday, July 23rd. Volunteers will be available in the church office to assist you on those days.

Church of the Month  

August is approaching and it’s almost time again for Winder FUMC to help those in need right here in our community by serving as “Church of the Month”. Funding for this ministry comes from the Barrow County Cooperative Benevolence Ministry (which we support through our church budget) and individual offerings given to our Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.

Without your generous gifts, many in our community might go hungry, be without medicine, electricity or water, or possibly find themselves homeless.

We need volunteers to help interview those in need on Mondays-Thursdays from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. during the month of August. If you would like to help, please contact the church office at 770-867-4594.

LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!

Do you own a business or work at a place that could use some extra advertising?  Faith Fest can help!!  We have sponsorship levels that can assist you in getting some advertising at Faith Fest '08, on October 4th.  From Patron level up to Platinum level.  Platinum level sponsors will have their name included in the Faith Fest commercials that will be on 104.7 The Fish.
